Think about an activity that you do, or a sporting activity you belong to and make a list of the rules that members need to follow.  For each rule, briefly explain why this rule has been put in place.

Rugby Union

The Rule is …..	Why this rule has been put in place…..
No High Tackle.	So no one gets hurt or injured.
No Forward Passes.	The game wouldn't be fair.
Don’t Wear Sharp Boots.	So the players doesn’t get cuts.
No Shepherding.	You can’t shepherd because the other player  that does not have the ball  will  get tackled.
No Knock Ons.	Then its the advantage to the other team and you will get pennelliaseid.
Wear a Mouthguard .	To keep your teeth safe.

Peace Sense Poem

I am learning to write a Poem about Peace One Day using my senses.

I am so proud of being able to describe what Peace feels like, tastes like and sounds like.

It can be tricky to find descriptive and interesting words to use in my sentences.

My buddy can help me by giving me some ideas.

The next step for me in my learning is to write another Peace Poem.

The Firing of ANZAC Landing

It is 2am on the 25th of April 1915.  I’m in an old boat wondering if I will survive.  I am scared a bullet would go through my head.  We are not able to see anything.  I can smell fear all around me.  I am holding my gun as if I would break it.  I am shaking with fear.  I see a bullet go through the boat.  The Turks started firing at us.  Lots of soldiers are jumping off the boat.  I felt a bullet go through my leg my friends blood was all around me as I fell on to the ground of the boat as I was going to die.

I am learning to write an interesting recount.

I am so proud of making my recount interesting by using similes and adjectives.

It can be tricky to the right adjectives for the right sentence.

The thesaurus can help me by giving me better words.

The next step for me in my learning is to write in paragraphs.
