This is a book written by Michael Morpurgo.  I have been reading it in the class room for S.S.R.  I am enjoying reading this book.  There are a lot of his books in our class Library and we are going to get to read them all this year.

I am learning to summarise my highlights at Camp M.E.R.C.

I am so proud making a Comic Life of my camp M.E.R.C highlights.

It can be tricky to write sentences in a summary.

My buddy could help me to write about my highlights.

The next step for me in my learning is to write another summary.

Multiplying and Dividing

I am learning to multiply and divide by 10,100 and 1000

I am so proud of being able to do this.

It can be tricky to remember the decimal point.

My Eye

I am  learning to draw a realistic eye.

To get this right I must remember to .....

• make my eye shape an oval
• include an eyelid, iris, pupil and eyelashes
• make both eyes symmetrical 
• use shading to make it look realistic
